Wired in 2003 predicted right:

  1. Apple Watch, except without videophone features, a few years off
  2. Noise cancelling earbuds, again a few years off
  3. smart fitness sensors and smart glasses, a few years off
  4. Full wall flat panel displays, a few years off

What has yet to come true:

  1. Smart contact lenses
  2. Hand-held food compositional scanner

So if they said 2020 they would have gotten 4 out of 6 right. Not bad.
